Stephen Newport was born on 1965-11-05.
On my 1965 Newport, it is under the dash, near the bottom of the front, above the driver's right knee if I recall. It clips in a metal holder. I would feel for a cylindrical can. I may be confusing with my 1969 Dart which had it there, but I did change the Newport's to one that played "Love me Tender" (drove me nuts), then to a louder one so I recall under the dash, possibly more to the right.

The attaching points that hold the dash can be accessed from behind the dash itself. You may want to remove the instrument cluster as well as the glove box door and radio to make the job easier, dont forget to remove the trim up by the windshield. The nuts that hold the dash in place are located in the corners and near the radio, there is probably a couple others so you'll have to feel around. ::AverageJoeResto.com::
