just came across it today; hold it squeezed down and turn left. my car stalls now and I saw the cap today and is broken maybe the mechanic could not open it months ago when I had them to tune up my e300.

It is on the top of the engine at the front. Open your hood, locate the long straight part of your engine and look down. See the round thing with the straight raised handle thing, that is it, it is black and can be hard to turn sometimes.
Remove the oil filler cap and there should be a dipstick attached to the cap

Remove the present one by turning counterclockwise until it comes free of the filler neck, Insert new cap in the filler neck and turn it clockwise until tight.
there is a round cap next to oil filler cap unscrew and filter is inside special tool recomended but a big plyers will work
If the cap just clicks when trying to remove you will need to pry the top of the cap off and then remove the botom half with pliers.
you will find the power steering reservoir under the right hand cover on top of the engine ,the one without the oil filler cap.it has a black cap with a dipstick underneath.
