Depends on how they are attached. Most have mounting screws (or Allen head screws). Sometimes these are used with a product such as Loc-Tite to keep them from unscrewing. The bond of Loc-Tite will make it very hard to remove the screw, but can be broken by heat. Hold the tip of a soldering iron to the head of the mounting screw, let it heat, and then attempt to unscrew. This MAY need the services of a qualified rifle smith. Broken screws are a real problem to remove.
