How can you repair the headlight levelling sensors on your Mazda rx8?

If your "running lights" light on your dash is showing yellow and always yellow instead of blue, you need to buy new sensors for both the front and rear suspension. Never heard of anybody being able to actually repair the sensors themselves. Take 400$ outta your wallet if that's the case.

Remove the front wheel, and remove the splash guard in the wheel well to access the headlight motor. The instructions for this procedure can be found in a Haynes Repair Manual that covers the Ford Probe, Mazda 626, and Mazda MX6.
