If one bank is running lean it usually means that you have a vacuum leak somewhere on that side. Check for broken hoses that connect to that side or possibly broken gaskets. changed all hoses what gasket
41 to 47 psi with pump running, engine off. The injectors are operated electrically.
Fuel filter, fuel pump, or pressure bypass/relief valve is not providing the correct, enough fuel pressure at the injectors.
The fuel pressure regulator is bad, one or more fuel injectors is leaking or the check valve in the fuel pump is faulty.
Have you replaced the fuel filter? Are you sure the pump is running and the fuse is not blown or the relay is bad. Do you have fire, and do you have fuel pressure to the injectors?
Fuel injector cleaner that you mix with a tank of gas, doing anything else to your fuel injectors to try to clean them can, and will likely end up damaging the injector itself, or the o ring seals that maintain fuel pressure. I have changed my injectors myself before, and they don't usually come out easily, or without breaking the plastic electric connector. Good old injector cleaner from time to time will do wonders, and keep system running smoothly.
average is usually 40PSI Key on (engine off) and 35 PSI with engine running), they're running on 17B injectors. Holley offers an upgradable Fuel Pressure regulator (for Chevy 5.0L TPI but will fit the 3.4L) http://www.holley.com/512-501.asp
Shouldn't-they are entirely electrical and pump is to maintain a certain pressure to the rail at all times. that pressure should be maintained if injectors are working or not . If it's not running, it's probably because it detects car not on. Most just prime but don't stay on unless engine starts.
I never heard of any fuel injectors getting damaged from running out of gas.
This engine will have seven injectors. 6 are the running injectors and there is a "Cold Start" injector.
running in the same problem. i come to conclusion its not EGR fuel pressure regulator or fuel pump. as the fuel pressure stays the same when this happens. it either has to be faulty injectors or ignition.
Clean fuel injectors are important in keeping an engine running smoothly. To clean the fuel injectors a person can take them out, clean them off, and by adding a cleaning agent to the gas tank to clean them from the inside out.
either your injrctor pump is broken or your computer has quit
