I logged out of my Google account, after I changed my password a few months ago. I have never logged in using the new password so it is not 'remembered'. When I try to reset it again through Google's process, I fail to prove I'm the account owner by answering all the specific questions. Anything else I can try?

If he changed them, I suggest contacting Google to find out if they can help you.
