On the left, in the blue box, you can see a "Question history" link. That would have the list of everyone who has edited the question and the corresponding changes they did to the question.
Once a question is submitted it can be seen or edited by people directly after it is submitted.
Changes are constantly being made. Every second, more than a few contributions come in. So to answer your question, the last time WikiAnswers was edited was less than a second ago. To get a better idea, see the related link below.
It provides answers, in the form of a wiki (a website which can be edited by members of the public).

No, they are not. They are both collaboratively edited resources for facts, but the format is different. On WikiAnswers there is a short answer Q&A style, whereas on About.com there are collaboratively edited help articles.
You can look under Question History to see who answered first. However, WikiAnswers is a collaborative effort, so an answer may be edited by several persons.
When you ask or answer a question, there is a check-box that asks if you want to add this question to your watchlist - the default is "yes" so if you don't remember telling us to, then it is automatically on your list! WikiAnswers will email you when your questions are answered, updated, or edited.
If you are a logged-in member (which is free and easy to set up) you can choose to get email updates when answers are given or edited to questions you have asked or decided to keep on your watchlist.

In a sense, yes. Someone can answer your question but, someone else can come along and "improve" the answer. Where your answer is, there's the word "improve", when someone clicks it, they can add to the answer. If you click on your question that was answered you will see "first answered by" and then a name. To the right of that you will see "last edited by" and then a name. Last edited by is the person that added to the answer. If "first answered by" is the only person that answered your question, their name also appears next to "last edited by", even though they didn't edit. That's just the way the system is.
