How can you stop being a drama queen?

1. Don't be selfish-

Care about everyone around you. Don't just care about yourself and how you feel, other's have feelings as well. If you see someone sad, go up to him/her and try to make him/her feel better, instead of ignoring him/her.

2. Talk normal-

A lot of drama queens, talk weird and strange. Try talking like a normal person. Also, don't add the word like into most of your sentences:

I was like, that shoe is so amazing, and she was like, yeah I agree.

3. Don't pick on people-

A lot of drama queens pick on people that are weak. Respect others and not everybody has the same life style.

4. Be yourself-

Don't pretend to be someone your not. You were born as an orginal, don't die a copy.

Start to think about your behavior and what you do. When you begin to act in a dramatic way stop yourself. Behavior is learned and people act the way they do because they have learned it gets them something they want. A perfect example of this is a child who wants a toy and throws a temper tantrum until he/she gets the toy. When the reward of the toy is given to the child he/she learns that to get what they want is to have a tempter tantrum. It works so they do it over and over. It is the same with being dramatic. Ask your friends to ignore when you when you begin to act this way and give yourself a reminder you want to change. You can change your behavior if you really want to.
