That is a natural hamster behavior, and it isn't really something you can change. They do make "hamster outhouses" that you can place in the corner. They will pee in that instead of their bedding. It is easier to clean.
get one more cage
it wants to come out and play. it also wants to sand down its teeth
Don't hold them so long, or only pick them up after you have seen them do what they needed to do in their cage first.
woahhh, well i had a guinea pig and i got this handbook with it, and it said it could be a sign of sickness, especially if they face the corner. If it is a Metal cage, you should really consult a professional. Second Answer Don't worry my sister has a hamster and he did the same. They will stop eventually. But maybe the cage is to small? My sisters hamsters cage is quite big so really the size is irrelevent. Just keep checking on them, they'll be fine!
You cannot get a guinea pig to stop peeing on you. They cant help it.
Hamsters have pouches to keep food in them. Also if they want to move there bedding around the cage, they will put saw dust or bedding in there mouths and will arrange the cage how they like, this is a good thing because you will no when they are settled because they will stop moving all there bedding/ sawdust around. :-)
You cant, just wait a while and it will stop.
Because they are sharpening there teeth. If you want them to stop, you should buy a chew stick or something like the from your local pet store.
If your hamsters are tackling each other then the only thing you can really do is separate them. If hamsters have not been together since birth, then they will most likely not get along in the same cage. Get another gage or divide the one your using now, or your hamsters might really hurt each other!
no i have did that befor
I must say that Hamsters would urinate inside their cage. If it urinates outside its cage, that means that your hamster may not like living inside the current cage. Most likely because its filfty and soiled. For more Information, visit: www.hamsterownerswebs.webs.com
get him used to peeing with the leash on, so he'll get used to it.
