There will be many UK universities willing to take on a mature student with an HND. Funding may be an issue but that is something each university will be happy to help with.
Perhaps the bugger question is whether a bachelor's degree would be of much benefit. The HND is a similar educational level to a BSc so it may prove to be of little practical value. Again, any university admissions department will be pleased to advise you.
As every university in the UK is independent of each other, they will all have their own entry criteria. It is worth approaching several to get their view on how to progress your education.
