Well, the best way is to start surruptitiously, like bring up a subject on the basis of love or dating. Hopefully things should carry on by themselves from there and hey presto! One of my friends (and I am NOT AT ALL reccommending this) made up an imaginary boyfriend and made her crush jealous by talking about him non-stop. It worked eventually, but it wasn't half as effective as being subtle.
