How can you tell if a 16 year old girl likes you?

Four quick things:

1. She looks at you more often then she did. If you are not wearing a funny shirt and you don't have something in your teeth or hair and she is looking when she thinks you are not, you might be on to something

2. Touch. Is she trying to brush against you a lot?

3. Attention. Is she trying to keep your attention more than usual? Is she trying to be more a part of your daily routine, or is she trying to make you a part of her daily routine?

4. Distance to you. When you are talking, does she stand closer to you? Americans like their distance, about 3 feet for total strangers, but much closer if someone wants to be with someone.

I would think about the four I listed and then decide if you need to do more research.

She tries not to be too obvious. talks to you more than other guys, casually asks for your number. Looks at you then intentionally looks away about 2 seconds after you turn and look at her.

With difficulty, everyone has there own way of showing it. She could be really mean to you (although this is more of a playground flirting), she could hold eye contact just a little too long or a whole host of other things. Girls are complicated, don't under estimate them.

Look at her eyes. that is one of the main things. if she looks at you for a second then looks away, then back up, and it continues in that pattern, it's a high chance that she likes you. if she stares at you nonstop, then it goes the same there. now i do not recommend dating at that age, but i do think it's funny when girls like me. another thing is if she wants to talk to you ALOT. that's another sign that she likes you. hi, i am a 13 year old girl, so i can probably help you here...

normally if a girl likes you, like REALLY likes you, she will usually look at you from across the classroom, smile at you when you walk past in the street, make a deliberate point of walking by you or with you on the way to class, either be really shy, or very chatty, and make a deliberate point of talking to you wherever possible.

I have a guy called Alex i fancy, but we only see eachother once a week, so everytime i do i do all the above. Plus last week me and my friend charlotte were asking him questions about how boys minds work around girls, because he asked us why girls hang around alot when they like you, I think he's finally getting the message now!

* By seeing what she does when she is around you. Take into account that she is staring at you, somehow flirting in her own way or the usual way. Just don't be discouraged if you find out that she doesn't (assuming you may have feelings for her).
