Basic Answer: Uncirculated means unused, no signs of wear. It's best to have a coin dealer or collector look at the coin to determine this.
I saw a 1955 Canadian Silver Dollar today at my coin dealer. He was asking $700 for the UNCIRCULATED coin. 1955 must be a difficult year to get, as uncirculated Canadian Silver Dollars generally sell for much less than that. Generally speaking, an uncirculated coin is in the same condition as it was when it left the mint. Wear and other forms of damage to a coin can significantly reduce its value.
A date is needed, post new question.
It would have very little scratches or other dirt on the coin.
