My dog got his shoulder dislocated last week.
We took him to our vet and they took an x-ray and a very
short time later they knew.
Here are his symptoms prior to the x-ray:.
He was holding one leg up and panting. He seemed in shock
and was trembling. There was no doubt at all that he was
in distress and in extreme pain.
His eyes were droopy and they were full of tears and you can
see a lot of pain in them.
Lifting him into the car was very difficult. The paw that is connected
to the injured shoulder was super sensitive. Had to drive very
slow since he would yelp at every bump in the road no matter how
small.
A dislocated dog leg should be checked out by a veterinarian. The vet may be able to get it back into place manually, the leg will then be wrapped.
A dislocated dog shoulder can easily be fixed by taking them to a veterinarian.
If your dog has dislocated it's shoulder, I'm pretty sure you would've heard the yike and the dog wouldn't put any weight on it.
Go to the vets
If your shoulder commonly comes out of its socket, then it is a preexisting condition. If it is the first time you have dislocated your shoulder or if you have never dislocated your shoulder, then it is not a preexisting condition.
A dislocated shoulder or knee can be quite painful.
A hamster with a dislocated shoulder is not going to die. He should be taken to the vet, who can pop the shoulder back into place and heal the hamster.

The medical uses for a shoulder brace are to protect the shoulder and keep it in place usually after a shoulder injury. These are often used when one has dislocated a shoulder.
