1 A seal protects the water pump impeller shaft bearing from contamination by engine coolant. If this seal fails, a weep hole in the water pump will leak coolant. If the weep hole is leaking, shaft bearing will follow. Replace the water pump immediately.
2 The water pump impeller shaft bearing can prematurely wear because its mechanically driven. When the bearing is worn it will squeal and it needs replaced don't confuse it with belt sequel though.
tell me what toyota year ,and i will tell you how is a toyota corolla 1995
Manufacturer label on door will tell you.
if it's leaking through the small weep holeunderneath,if it makes a high pitched squealing sound, grab the water pump pulley and try to move it up and down or side to side and if it moves it is bad. those are 3 ways to tell.
Water pump shaft loose? Water pump leaking? Water circulating in coolant system?
No circulation.
If a water pump is bad they usually leak coolant
very carefully lol. get a hanes manual! it wil tell you everything you need to know
my engine runs hot on my 2000 dodge caravan how can i tell if its the water pump i already change the thermostat does not help
by body, vin ,badges ect..
There is a small hole in the bottom that is designed to leak when the water pump bearing is goin out
if you are talking about the weep hole in the water pump. that hole will let water out when the seals in the water go bad. that will tell you to get the water pump replaced.
It would either be under the hood in a fuse/relay box or on the driver's side of the dash board (open the door and it will be on the side of the dash) where the fuse panel is. It will tell you what fuse goes to what.....a/c, heater, radio, etc. Hope this helps. the fuel pump relay is under the hood of the car in the relay boxes it will say fuel pump on it If you have no cover for your fuses how do you tell which fuse is the right one for the fuel pump in the 1994 Chevy camaro z28 ?
