If its a purebreed the usually come with papers if not ask to see the mom and dad.
Licensing is when you get a license from the county you live in, saying that that dog is someones pet (yours), and it lives in your county. Registering is when you get papers for your puppy that says it is a 'purebreed' dog. These are mostly only used for showing dogs.
no it cant be i have one they can only be snow white nunless theyve rolled in the mud Actually, there are purebreed black malteses. The black comes from a far off trait that they had obtained from an ancester who wasn't a purebreed. When a mixed breed Maltese is breed with a pure breed Maltese, those puppies with not be pure breed but as you keep breeding those puppies with purebreed and then the puppies of those puppies breed with a purebreed then eventually, as each new set of puppies is born from the last, they will regain their purebreed status. This has happened, someone breed two purebreed white malteses and one puppy came out black. The puppy that was born had received a gene that had been long since dormant. Black Maltese aren't very common but they are out there. Actually, today of May 7th, 2011, I ran into a girl at PetCo who had a puppy black Maltese. And he had his purebreed papers.

Call a lawyer and sue the breeder go to court and get back some of your money. Or threaten to sue them. Yet don't let them take the puppy away. Just say the breeder lied about the puppy being a purebred and get about half of your money back. that is my advice but you should ask other people and listen to their opinions.

To find a reliable way to purchase a wolf hybrid puppy an individual would be better off looking in their local papers or contacting local breeders. A better option for society as a whole would be to adopt a dog that is currently a stray or in the pound.
The term "purebred" is used among breeders to mean an animal whose ancestors are all from within its breed. Examples are horses (Arabian, Clydesdale, ...) and dogs (Golden Retriever, Boston Terrier, ...). Most purebreds are registered to prove their lineage. The term "hybrid" means a mixture or cross between two types. Example: among dogs, the "labradoodle" is a cross (hybrid) between Labrador and Poodle.
