because they are cold blooded . && they dont give live birth

Actually, although many reptiles lay eggs, many give live birth instead.

The ones with live births usually care for their young while often the egg-layers do not, but this isn't a firm rule. Lists can be found online, often under "eggs."

If the animal is a reptile, you can tell how it cannot go into and swim in water (such cases as the water snake confuse me) and it can't live in water. Or the other way around where it can live in water and can go swimming. I hope this helps!

How tell the difference between normal eggs and animal eggs?

Sounds like your asking how to tell the difference between fertile and infertile. If so after 7 or 8 days you can candle the egg to look for embryo growth. Candling is nothing more than shining a bright light at the end of an egg and peering into the egg. On the the other hand if your referring to the difference between a fowl egg and a reptile egg. Then your answer is fowl eggs are hard shelled and reptile eggs are soft and leathery.

Is tortoise amphibian?

The tortoise, or turtle as it is known when swimming, is an often-misunderstood animal. Most people assume that the tortoise is an amphibious reptile with a shell. Indeed if you were to approach a small boy on the street and shout in his face, "Is a tortoise an amphibious reptile with a shell? Answer me you peace of crap, answer me now! Don't look away, tell me with your words, is it??" then more often than not he will reply, "Yes." and then cry. Believe me.

Is snake a reptile?

Yes, a snake is a reptile. It is not an amphibian because amphibians have smooth, scaleless skin which is how they obtain water, but most importantly snakes use an amniotic sac in both eggs and live birth, while amphibians do not. It is not a mammal because it has no hair nor mammary glands.
