Open the drivers door and on the latch pillar you will see the safety
compliance sticker . Under " axle " there will be a code shown
Ask your question again with the axle code and I will try to find out
Open the drivers door and look at the informaion sticker(s) for the axle code Each axle code corresponds to a specific axle ratio
There are four ways to find a ratio. 1 A dealer can normally tell from the vin number. 2 There are normally tags or labels on the axle that have part number, gear ratio, and fluid requirement info. 3 You can count how many times you have to turn the driveshaft to get one complete turn of the tires. 4 You can divide the number of teeth on the ring gear and divide by number of teeth on the pinion.

look on the bottom of the axle...and there should be a metal tag saying what size and ratio that axle is
Open the drivers door and look for an information sticker on the end of the door It should show the axle code It may be a letter and a number , or two numbers The axle code is used to tell what the gear ratio is and if you have a limited slip differential - just ask your question again and include the axle code information

If you call a GM dealer and give them the VIN# they can tell you what gear ratio you have.
It's not. Call a GM dealership, tell them your VIN #, and they can tell you the gear ratio it came with from factory.
All you need to do is call a Chevy dealer and give them the VIN# and asked them what the gear ratio is in your truck and they will tell you what the factory gear ratio is.
teide
Count the ring gear teeth and the pinion gear teeth and divide the ring gear # into the pinion gear # and that will be the gear ratio. Are you can write the VIN# down and call a Chevy dealer and ask for parts. Then tell the parts man that you have the VIN# and you would like to know the gear ratio in your truck. He'll tell you.
There will be a small metal tag on the rear diff. It will tell you your gear ratio, and will have an "LS" after that number if you have a limited slip.
