I personally have taken Adderall and do not have a prescription for it, it is like speed to me I move faster talk more stay awake longer, want to learn can not stop writing, when im doing a certain task I do it VERY thoroughly and I want to solve the worlds problems! because of the speedy effect it has on me I tend to want to start multiple task a one time. I am this way for the first few days if I take it everyday for lets say 5 days the last 2 days this behavior is not so dramatic and more suttle. If you knew im typical behavior you would easily be able to tell I was "on something" for say because naturally I am shy and quiet.
My husband however is diagnosed ADHD and takes Adderall he too experienced similar side effects in the beginning. However naturally without medication he moves fast, talks a lot and starts multiple task but in an erotic , scatter brained kind of way. On adderall he is able to focus more often then with out the drug.
So to answer your question in general just watch someones behavior if It is dramatically different they are probable on something adderall or not. Some caffeine pills or diet pills can give a person some of the same side effects. And truthfully if they have taken it for awhile or taken a small dosage you wont be able to tell by behavior only. If its very important for you to know it can be tested in most 5 panel drug test that you can buy at any drug store test for amphetamine (AMP)
i know you can do lexapro and adderall at the same time since i am personal prescribed to both. I am not sure what lamictal is though. Just try to take the adderall in the morning and take the lexapro at night since they would work against each other and would cause more than needed stess on your liver.
as a person who has been perscribed adderal for quite some time i would have to say adderall increases movement not the other way around
you may be asked to bring in proof of prescription, that's all.
There is no way to answer this question without knowing what the medication was perscribed for and what the perscribed dosage amount was. Also, if it was perscribed for ADD, you would need to measure and report the effect of the medication on your ADD symptoms.
Yes, you can mix appropriately perscribed amounts of percocet and Ridalin. They are not contraindicated one to the other. But not recommended for recreational use. Medications are perscribed (among other things) on physiological/psychological conditions and dosing on body weight ratio; as well as evaluation by a licensed clinitian.
Adderall is perscribed by your doctor, and by your doctor, (s)he will decide as to how often you will take your medicine, however, they will also tell you how much you should take at each time...Currently, myself, I am taking 10 mg in the morning and 5 mg at night...So it all depends on what you are needing it for.... Currently, that dosage of ten and five is a very small dose for most people...but again, it all depends on what you are taking the medicine for.
if it was perscribed it des not matter. aderall is not a drug that is going to be detected. it may come up as speed at first but a confirmation will see it is not.
Adderall is composed of amphetamine and dextroamphetamine. These ingredients are chemically and physiologically almost identical to methamphetamine (meth, crystal, ice), all of which have an extremely high abuse potential and pose very serious health risks when taken in doses or frequencies above therapeutic limits. Adderall is a controlled substance (DEA schedule 2, the most strictly controlled that are still legal to prescribe). It is not available over the counter because Adderall should only be used under the supervision of someone's psychiatrist or physician. If Adderall was over the counter, it would be highly abused, used incorrectly, and/or be used by people who do not need it or people who could encounter very serious health risks from taking it (I.E. Heart attack patients, anorexics, etc.)
Yes, adderall is a stimulant although for reasons unknown it has a calming effect on people with ADD. So if someone who does not have ADD were to take it, it would serve as a stimulant.
There is no way to tell.
Anyone and everyone! That is why you must be moderate in your intake of this medication. It is easy to become addicted to it, and then to take more and more than is diagnosed by your doctor. One strategy -- if you are overdoing it -- is to cease taking it for a week to 10 days. Then when you resume it, you will again experience the same benefits at or near the original dose. Good luck!
scientifically i don't know. but i drink when i take my adderall often and it doesnt mess me up. i started on 5 mg. i think that's where your doctor should tell you to start
