The transmission fluid capacity on a Ford Festiva is 3.75 litres for a manual transmission.
I am guessing that this is a manual shift . It has no actual stick . You must take the speedo cable housing loose at the trans , 10mm bolt and pull it up , the fluid level check is on the end of that assy. very easy to do .
very carefully.

My 1989 festiva owner manual states: 3.9 quarts with a filter change.
I think the Festiva manual transmission uses ATF The auto parts store or the owners manual will tell you
On the manual trans there is no dipstick. You check level by marks on speedo gear in transaxle which you remove by removing one 8mm bolt on drivers side of trans axle.It uses Mercon V automatic trans fluid.
3.6 Quarts (including filter)
Ford did not make a festiva for sale in the us in 1997. They made and sold an Aspire auto trans or straight drive
The speedo hole is where you do it. Read the manual! Remove the 10mm bolt holding the speedo sending unit in the trans and there is a nice big hole for you to fill the trans.
