Well, when a yorkie goes in heat, they usually stay in heat for 6 weeks, so i recommend on the 2nd week that you try, because not the first time will it work, so that way, you give them time to rest, and you have more weeks to go to try breeding!

∙ 15y agoThe heat cycle has three stages. The first stage is when you will notice her starting to swell in her private area. This means that her body is preparing for the cycle. The second stage is that she will start bleeding which can last anywhere from 4-7 days. After the bleeding cycle is when the female is ready to accept the male. She will not want to have anything to do with the male during the first part of the cycle. After the bleeding is when the female gets horny and all the male dogs start to come around. So, the answer to your question is that you can breed her after the bleeding part of the cycle is over.
