Hide food 1st in the house and have the dog find it. then when he starts to get the hang of it take him Into the Woods and test him to see if he can find anything. Maybe hide things he likes there too. Then have him try to find an animal. You also might need a signal so he knows when to stop, go, and be quiet. Good Luck!
It really depends on what kind of dog it is, also how it's trained. You can train dogs to hunt, but they will not do it automatically.
you teach your dog to poo when he seas a squirrel then you are ready with your gun and shot it down
you give the dog the scent and they can know the scent of the animal the master is ordering him to find
2 years is way too young for a dog to start to hunt anything! Try to start to let he or she hunt at age 5.
it depends if your going to train it to hunt or just if it's going to be a watch/''regular''dog it any age/ training[hunt] age is 21+up
None, let the dogs loose and train them to hunt deer. (joke)
That dog can hunt is a metaphor for He is good at something
How to Train a Dog was created in 1936.
Yes. American bulldogs were breed to hunt boars and pigs they were used to grip it and not let go
Humans hunt with coon hounds. However if the dog gets lost, humans will hunt for their dog but not to eat.
