Either replace the burnt wire or run new to the blower motor with a toggle switch.
First you need to get the parts automotive grade wire, a fuse link, fuse, and a 3 post toggle switch. cut space in dash of the car large enough for the toggle switch in a place reachable from the driver seat wire fuse link to the positive side of the battery (do not let the other end touch any part of the motor or car this will cause the fuse to ground out) run a wire from the fuse link to the positive side of the toggle switch run another wire from the negetive side of the toggle switch to the nearest ground (area where the wire will touch body or frame of the car) run a wire from the third post on the toggle switch to the positive side of the pump run one last wire from the negetive side of the pump to another ground now turn the toggle switch to on let pump prime (allow to fill with fule) for a few seconds then fire motor
The three wires are the ground wire, the hot wire that runs through the switch and is energized only when the switch is in the on position and the third wire which is energized anytime the ignition switch is on. This circuit allows the wiper arm to go to the "park" position when you turn the wiper switch off. If you turn the ignition switch off while the wiper is in operation it will stop immediately and not continue to the "park" position. When the ignition switch is turned on again, the wiper will return to "park".
Just wire it to a toggle switch. When you need it, just flip the switch.
To answer this question the contact positions on the three position switch must be stated. By knowing the contact positions a proper wiring diagram can be conceived.
find you a donor vehicle like a Monte Carlo,if you have a turn signal switch with a dimmer switch combined then your in luck ,the Monte Carlo has the wiper with delay, dimmer and turn signal switch all in one .if the wiper switch is on the dash then you might look twards a switch and wiper motor from a caprice classic, the wiper motor has the delay board installed on it just plug and play.don't foget to hook up the green pulse wire to the single terminal under the washer pump, this can be done because i converted my 71 ss chevelle to delay system, only mods was mounting the switch but i did it without drilling or cutting my dash.
you can just use a toggle switch,,,you need a relay capable of the amps it takes for the starter.it would connect between the starter and the battery, then you would need a toggle switch preferably a momatary toggle switch to activate the relay.
It's pretty simple to wire toggle switches to fan motors. Bring a power lead from the fuse block (on a protected circuit or install an inline fuse) to the toggle switch. Then take the outfeed line straight to the fan motor. The problem is the fan will only run on HIGH. You can install a rheostat switch the same way and it will give you variable speed control to the fan motor.
The wire color for a windshield wiper motor in an S10 pickup that connects to the fuse is white. The high speed wire is purple, the low speed wire is gray.
to shut the fans on and off by yourself. remove the connector for the wires at the fan. hook a wire from the positive on fan motor to the inside toggle switch, do not hook to switch yet. run a wire from the positive on battery, hook to battery after hooking up switch. hook up the wires to the switch. then the battery. its up to you if you want to install a 15 amp fuse in line from battery to toggle switch.. you can also get the power from the fuse box instead of the battery. this should work for you. if not you may need to ground the other fan wire.
Run a toggle switch from battery to ign. side of ign. switch.
