Sadly there is no way to make your skin naturally darker indoors. But there are several products that you can use to speed up your tanning outdoors. When tanning outdoors, make sure to drink plenty of water to hydrate your skin and make it absorb the sun. It's also important to moisturize your skin so that your tan lasts longer. You can also buy Banana Boat's Deep Tan Lotion that helps speed up tanning. It's super cheap! You can buy it at target and other drug stores. I'm EXTREMELY pale and these methods have helped me alot! I hope it helps you too!
In days gone past, some very light skinned people used coffee and tea to stain their skin darker. This is a temporary solution, and I would try it months before you have to be anywhere (don't try this before the big school dance or your wedding). What they used to do, is soak in coffee grounds (warm and liquidy) until they were happier with their color. Teas work the same way, but while some will turn your skin brown, some can turn you yellow. In the area's that you can't soak (like your face), just rub. Oh yeah, before you try this, you need to try to remove dead and dry skin and other rough spots from your elbows and heels and wherever, because I was told that those area's might come out darker. I've never personally tried this, I got the idea from older people that I know. I love those old stories. One of the teas that they used to darken their skin and hair was sage tea. If you're going to try this, remember, I've never tried this, so you're on your own. Good luck!
If you're talking about darker (like after a tan) hydration is key. Moisturize twice a day and your color will last twice as long.
One can make his or her skin color darker by exposing himself or herself to the sun more. One can try tanning on the beach or simply participate in outdoor activities.
Yes they can. People with darker skin can stay in the sun for longer because they have a higher amount of Melanin. Melanin protects us from the harmful UV rays of the sun. :)

Yes. When black babies are born their skin is light. But over the first week their skin will become darker.
Best way to achieve a darker color on your skin without tanning is to use a self tanner.
Adaotation of skin cells to prevent damage from UV rays, it is the pigment in the skin that becomes darker, not the skin tissue itself

Some people have naturally darker skin than others. It all depends on what genes you end up with. Some white people have naturally darker skin, and some black people have naturally lighter skin.
It all depends on your skin tone. Being that you are a brunette, your skin tone is likely a medium. Stay in the darker shades. An auburn or mahogany would likely look great.
Your skin will become dark, darker, darkest and more dark, more darker, most darker, wastage of skin, irritating. Totally your skin will be exploited and no one in the world can cure it.
