America is a very large country with many different climates year round. In December, the North East and middle America maybe quite cool ranging from the low 30's to high 50's. Across the south from east to west the temperatures are more moderate and range from the high 50's to the high 70's near the coasts but cooler in the mountains and high desert (20's to 60's). Two extremes can be found in our largest state (Alaska) with an average temperature of 22* and one of our smallest states (Hawaii) average temperature 76*.
