In the winter, Minnesota can get down to about -20 degrees. Summer, however, can get up to about 70. (lie)
I highly doubt that the person that wrote the above answer has ever been to Minnesota is his life. The average temperature in the summer months is in the mid 80s, and usually several weeks of the summer are in the 90's. In fact, on the day I am writing this, my city (Rochester) has a forcasted high of 102 degrees. It can get cold in the winter, but last winter, it was mostly in the 40's, and even 50's. And for one week in March 2012, it was hotter here than it was in Miami, with temperatures in the 80's/
I remember growing up in Minnesota and surviving some -40 degree nights.
