Technically, He did.
It was He [the WORD of God; the Creator God of the Old Testament - John 1] who "inspired" men to write the Words.
As He reveals to us in God's Word... He only spoke the Words His Father commanded Him to speak:
"...I speak to the world those things which I have heard of Him. They understood not that He spake to them of the Father.
"...I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father hath taught Me, I SPEAK THESE THINGS... for I do always those things that please Him...
"If ye continue in My Word [The Bible], then are ye My disciples indeed; and ye shall know the TRUTH..." (John 8:26-32).
[see also Jesus' confession in His prayer to His Father in heaven]:
"Sanctify them through thy Truth: THY WORD [the Bible] IS TRUTH." (John 17:17)
God has been allowing men [created in His image] to participate in His plan for the restoration of the Kingdom of God on the earth. Part of the plan is the recording of His Word as a testimony... a witness and warning to mankind in the last days.
The books of the Bible are the Words of Jesus Christ, as He has heard from His Father... and given to humble men inspired by the Holy Spirit throughout man's history.
Mankind is destined to become "God's Children"... and some of those whom He calls "prophets," He commissioned to write His Words down... thus, allowing them to participate in the completion of His plan.
In like manner, God allowed the first two people [male and female created He them]... to begin man's participation in the "creation of all the rest of His Children" who shall number as the stars of heaven, by the time His plan is done.
The only thing the Bible records as being "personally written" by Jesus, was the Ten Commandments in the two stone tables for Moses to take to the people:
"...He gave unto Moses... two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God." (Ex.31:18)
In order to "write in stone"... requires either a mallet and chisel... or some serious high-tech firepower, like a laser or something [the technology of which God created, also]. Either the WORD had a very hard finger... or some serious heat shot out of it.
The early writing materials and paper upon which the inspired Word of God was written wouldn't have survived "the finger of God" had He written it all, personally.
But in the end... God is allowing His Children to participate in the completion of His plan [the preaching and spreading of the good news]. And the inspired recording of His Word by men is part of it.
jesus did not write any of the books in the bible.
No, she didn't, she gave birth to Jesus and married Joseph, a carpenter but she didn't write a bible.
No one knows what Jesus looked like, nor did he write any of the Christian bible.
after Jesus had seen Peter and his brother at the fish
Jesus didn't write anything to do with the bible.....his stories were said orally then one day john decided to write how he died and then Matthew mark and luke......they wrote the stories from stories they were told so Jesus didn't wirte any of the bible he merly just explain the stories so future people could write it :)
In the Bible, Moses comes first, then Jesus, then Paul.
He wrote what happened while he was a disciple of Jesus
In Luke 9:57-62 Jesus said to a man.
The primary source for the events and sayings of Jesus Christ is found in the Bible.
My knowledge is from the bible, the King James version. And attending bible studies at the church.
yes as the bible says
No. He wasn't even alive when half of it was written. And there is not theslightestbit of evidence, not even a suggestion in the bible it's self that he did.
