wifi is wireless internet;so you may not be in rang of a connection which is you go to settings then safari you will find able unlock connections.
go to a place where wifi is
My iPod touch does this all the time. There are a few things that could be happening. 1. It could be that you are in a wifi zone that is password protected, but your iPod still says you are connected. 2. You could only be close enough to the wifi that you only get one "bar" so it takes a long time to load or it never does load and says it fails.
make sure that you have a router and that you are in range... make sure your ipod is detecting your network... go to settings/wifi and select your network
Are you sure the router isn't turned off or anything like that?
Human error.
then your ipod touch has issues
probably you're trying to access itunes or the app store without internet connection or with a low wifi signal
The reason Safari says it cannot open a page because it is not connected to the Internet is because.... it cannot open a page because it is not connected to the Internet. (i.e. you don't have an internet connection - check your WiFi status in your iPod Touch "settings")
you download itunes and plug it in again then it should set up your ipod. make an acount in itunes plug in the ipod touch click download takes 5 to 10 mins and it will be done then u ave to get wifi u will have to know someone's password to do that then Bye
It just means that your wifi firmware is compatible with ipod touch firmware. It's not supposed to be like that, but it's how it's. You might want try updating firmware for your router, see if it helps. PS: try to switch to PSK, WEP is a very weak protection and can be cracked for maximum couple hours.
You need an iPod Touch 4th Generation and access to a Wifi network. After that, go into your contacts on your iPod. Then, select the contact you want to FaceTime with. Scroll down, and there should be a button that says FaceTime. Then, click that, and it should start a FaceTime immediately.
The only reason your iPod touch dies after only two hours is that try and turn the wifi connectivity off if your like in the car or something. If you don't know how to turn the wifi off these are the steps: >1. Go to settings on the home page >>2. Press wi-fi (First one on the top) >>>3. slide the little bar where it says on and slide it to the opposite way to where it says off. There you go! Your iPod's battery should be more sufficient now.
