............ My Baby Hamster is too, He is a Robo :) And When I picked him up this morning he wouldn't move, He was breathing... His Tail Had Yellow Wetness but we thought it was pee...I don't want to take my baby back...He wouldn't eat/drink ... And when we got him he had a hole in his ear and blood on his nose and paw! I hope you find out yours is okay... (cry...)

I think it is because he is too lazy seeings as he is very fat.
But im not 100% sure of that.
Maybe your hamster is fat and cant be bothered aswell?
My hamster was like that too until i got her wooden toys and rubbed treats all over them now she chews all her wooden toys right down you should try it

∙ 11y agoYour hamster is just probably scared. Take this slowly and calmly. Do not force him/her to get the food from your hand, put your hand in your hamster's cage and don't move. Your hamster will most likely not go at first, but it will eventually be interested and check it out. Don't be scared of your hamster nibbles you a bit, that just means your hamster is checking you out. And if you be scared of your hamster, your hamster will be scared of you! If your hamster starts to go near you, DO NOT MOVE. It will get scared of you and will think, "Oh no! Hand = Danger!". Your hamster may not eat from your hand the first couple of days, this takes time. It's like you, getting a snack from a random person! Of course you will investigate the person out first, same with hamsters. So try this everyday and say it's name. It will eventually get it, "Oh! My name means FOOD!". If your hamster goes into it's house or will not eat in your hand after like, 20 minutes, stop it for the day. Say something like, "All done now..." in a soft voice, and your hamster will know that, the phrase, "All done now..." means you are going and leaving your hamster alone. So keep doing this, everyday, twice a day, and use treats for the hand feeding. Your hamster will be even more excited and interested in treats. So, sorry it's so long. Hope this helped!

Apart from the fact that you're not supposed to disturb your hamster when it's sleeping or eating, normally a hamster would bite if you did that. It might be that your hamster is simply not aggressive at all, or on the other hand it could be that it's too weak to defend itself because it's ill. It would be best to take the hamster to the vet's just in case to see there's nothing wrong with it.

Seriously ill: most likely a cold or wet tail (both of which can kill a little hamster if left untreated). Go take it to a vet ASAP. They can give medicine to put into the hamsters water.
