How come the oil pressure drops in the red in your 2.8 fiero when idiling?

You may need to change your oil, it may be normal for this vehicle to be in the red at an idle. The engine is not under any pressure.
also a very common fault for gm v6 engines loss of oil pressure at idle is often caused by worn out main bearings. i have salvaged many engines by changing them.
