We haven't developed the technology for lots of reasons. Fuel, how would u be able to supply an engine or similar structure that can move at the speed of light with a fuel sourcE? it would burn out almost if not instantly. Energy is never created or destroyed, its changed, law of conservation of energy, it would be impossible to discover a fuel source containing enough energy to convert to that movement speed.
