I think Lionblaze, but Firestar hasn't died yet so it isn't certain who Brambleclaw's deputy will be. It isn't even known if Brambleclaw will be a leader. Um, did Graystripe, like, die or something? Why did squirrelflight dump ashfur?
Ashfur seems to have directed his hate to Squirrelflight. It can be assumed he believes that Squirrelflight, opting to choose Brambleclaw over Ashfur, was the one who was at fault. Maybe he thought Brambleclaw was an innocent bystander or something. If he did feel any hatred toward him, it's possible he simply chose to hate Squirrelflight instead, because he still loves her. Love hate situation.

Yes, Brambleclaw and Leafpool did not have kids together. Leafpool became a mother to Jayfeather, Lionblaze, and Hollyleaf after secretly giving birth to them while posing as their aunt to avoid stigma for breaking the warrior code. Brambleclaw did not have romantic feelings towards Leafpool.
Will Brambleclaw die?
He won't live forever, but we are not sure whether his death will be recorded in the Warriors series. There have been rumors that he will die sometime in the fourth series, and that he will not succeed Firestar as leader, but we can not know for sure if these rumors are true.how can brambleclaw die!
