How come your 1996 Tahoe only gets about 6 miles to the gallon Runs great just not good gas mileage?

There are a ton of things it could be. My suggestion find a local mechanic that wont charge $65 to hook your truck to a monitor. I have a 98 Tahoe and had it done by my local mechanic for $20.00.
