it happens alot so don't worry, whne you overcharge your DS, the charger goes out of shape a little so when you plug it in, it doesnt charge. you will find that if you (once its plugged it) psuh it up or down or left or right(try all of them until it charges) itll charge but if that's a bother, buy a new charger i actually just put a pen behind it so when i leave it charging the pen pushes the charger up so it charges don't get frustrated if it doesnt work, just buy a new one and be carefull not to charge for over 4hours at a time
