Computers keep track of medical records, prescriptions and patient information.

They are used to email patient information. They are also used to control various monitoring equipment such as heart, respiration, etc.

Even those machines you see by hospital beds, with the wavy lines and beeping and all are computer controlled. They may not look like computers, but the circuitry and logic is basically a computer.
