Puritans came to America wanting to spread their own religion as a way that everyone would be under and no problems would or could occur. Most puritans went under the religion of Calvinism as many were often religious bigots because they discriminated against the Indians and only accepted the kind that didn't like Quakers. By the end of the seventeenth century, Parliament was much in progress for making rules and regulations for others to follow.
