The clogging fats in the artery walls could somewhat prevent the flow of blood, because the blood now has some blockage. If the clogging became big enough, it could block the flow of blood entirely through that artery. Whatever the case, the heart needs to beat harder to make the blood go pass the blockage.

What does it mean if allens test is positive?

Significant collateral circulation to the hand via the Ulnar artery is not present. You should not access the radial artery for an ABG or to perform a cardiac catheterization becasue interrupting the blood flow to the hand from the radial artery could result in significant hand ischemia.

What happen when blood vessel becomes clogged?

It depends... if it's a blood vessel to your heart, you could have a heart attack. If it's an artery say, in your lungs (pulmonary artery), you could die. If it's an artery in your leg, you could get gangrene and lose your leg. If it's a vein, that's not *AS* serious, because your body usually has other veins that can take up the slack, but it's still serious. If you suspect that you have a blood vessel clogging, you should see your doctor. Depending on the situation, the treatment could be anywhere from a change in diet, to medication, to a balloon catheter, to a stint.

You have swollen bilaterel sub lingual lymph nodes and also in left side of neck what might be the cause?

Sounds like you have an infection. Lymphatic system works similar to the circulation (blood) system, except it only goes one way, whilst the circulation has 2 way traffics (artery and vein). When the lymph swollen it could be caused by infection or tumor/cancer (lymphoma).
