Electric Current means flow of electrons through the conductors so it's obvious that if you are running then you'll feel heat in your body means the heat is directly proportional to the motion thus electrons are moving very fast towards their direction in conductor that's why It produces heat due to movement of electrons and it's also obvious that there is certainly a collision between electrons to some extent, more the collision more the current will produce HEAT.
