Flicker is a criticism sometimes made of active 3D. Poorly calibrated or low quality glasses are often causes of the flicker.

As a first step, check batteries in the glasses. Make sure, if there is a timing calibration or set up control for the glasses that you do the set up properly.

Finally, make sure that the glasses are compatible with the television. Sometimes, using an alternative model of glasses with an active 3D television can make a difference.

If you believe that she is nasty, rather then annoy her maybe you could try to help her by nicely telling her that she's nasty. Or you could just avoid her all together and there would be no problem.

Why utilitech fluorescent light flickering?

If this is a dusk-to-dawn security light, the flickering could be caused by ambient or reflected light striking the cds mounted behind a small lens on the (side of most) cabinet. This causes the light to turn off, the reflected light (perhaps combined with ambient) is reduced the light turns back on and the cycle repeats. On my lamp, the light stays on for 6 - 10 seconds before flickering off and back on under these circumstances. You can check if this is the cause by sticking some black electrical tape over the lens - light will stop flickering if this is the problem. Good luck, Dr. Emmett Brown
