How could you prove the authenticity of the Bible?

A:The Bible could have been written, or at least inspired, by an omnipotent and omniscient God if it contains no contradiction or error. Although much more difficult, it could perhaps be shown to have been written by God if it contains a clear and unambiguous prophecy that was written and widely circulated long before the prophecy was fulfilled and if the fulfilment of the prophecy is undeniable.

Since neither of these tests is met by the Bible, it is not possible to prove that it was written by God. The Bible was written by men, whose inspiration came from within themselves.

all the prophesies in the Old Testament are fulfilled in the New Testament. another way is to compare the biblical accuracy with science, for example Genesis 1 which talks about creation mentions heredity which is something that modern science has proven in the form of DNA.

The authenticity of the Bible; that it is the "Holy Spirit-inspired" Word of God [II Tim.3:16], is not provable by any man to the irrefutable satisfaction of the nations of the world. Except for the ONE MAN whose Words they are; Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

And for now, He has ascended into heaven at the right hand of His Father.

For the time being... the Bible's authenticity is only provable to "individuals"... intimately and privately, one person at a time through a deeply personal relationship with its Author within their mind and heart.

In other words... you can only "prove" its authenticity to yourself through "Faith and Belief" in its Author, humble and unceasing prayerful communication with Him, along with a continuous reading and study of it; drinking in, imbibing, chewing on and digesting its WORDS -- the "Bread of Eternal Life."

"It is the Spirit that gives Eternal Life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. and the very Words I have spoken to you ARE SPIRIT AND LIFE." (John 6:63 NLT New Living Translation)

Therefore... until that ONE MAN returns to earth with Power and Great Glory, as the prophecies tell us... the PROOF OF THE BIBLE's AUTHENTICITY will only be verified to the satisfaction of all the world WHEN THEY SEE HIM COMING IN THE CLOUDS.

Then, at that time when all the nations see Him with their eyes, all the world will know Him, many begrudgingly, from the least to the greatest.

"And then at last, the sign of the coming of the Son of Man will appear in the heavens, and there will be deep mourning among all the nations of the earth. And THEY WILL SEE the Son of Man arrive on the clouds of heaven with Power and Great Glory." (Matt.24:30 NLT)
