Perhaps because hydrocodone is not metabolised into morphine like many other opiates like codeine and the drug test you took only picks up morphine or 6-acetyl morphine(heroin). Then again perhaps they made a mistake. False negatives happen as well as false positves in drug tests. The sensitivity of tests has been reduced in recent years because of lawsuits from false positive tests.
I think it will only show positive for opiates on a drug screen.
Will taking Norco thin your blood?
200 mg is alot of opiates man, it may very well hurt you!just smoke some dank. 200 mgs WILL KILL YOU....DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS
I was previously prescribed suboxone and therefor recognize it has a drug called naloxone in it which is a narcotic antagonist or drug that mixed with opiates such as hydrocodone which is in the norco pill and can cause immediate withdrawal effect.
The combination is safe.
You bet it will i tested positive for opiates after taking oxycodone 30 mg the same goes for vicodin morphine percocet oxycontin norco codeine they all show up as opiates but they usually dont stay in your system very long 2-3 days one week max good luck be careful if taking and are gonna be tested give yourself a week to clean out your system
What you're experiencing is due to tolerance. Oxycodone and Norco (Hydrocodone) are both commonly prescribed opiates. The most advisable way to regain control of your pain is to switch to a non-opiate substitute that makes your pain bearable for a period of time before switching back to opiates. If you follow this course of action and experience opiate withdrawals, you may want to consider a permanent alternative to opiates. To answer your question more directly, you can refer to a conversion table for opiates located at the following URL. http://algosresearch.org/PracticeTools/NarcoticCalculator.html
Nothing good. Taking any kind of medication (prescription or not) with alcohol is a bad idea.
NO, I take both. Norco 10/325 and prozac. Although .... I have sometimes felt that the interaction of the two reduced the overall potency of the opiates. =(
You could take them together but its quite a waste eventually. Methadone works as a blocker of opiates . Heroin addicts get prescribed it to take away their withdrawal but also so they cant get high from herion anymore. You would have to be on it for a little while before that starts working but it eventually does. I used to take up to 30 vicodin and or norcos a day, and when i tried to get off it i was prescribed methadone. ++Addition++ First of all, methadone DOES NOT block the effects of opiates. It does not contain any of the opiate blocking chemicals like suboxone or narcon does. However, taking ANY opiate in addition to Methadone can be very dangerous. Methadone is stronger per mg than many of the standard opiates that people take, such as Norco or Lortab. So taking one of these with Methadone can very easily send you into overdose mode. This is not to say that they cannot be taken together, but you just have to be very, very careful. My suggestion would be to ALWAYS speak with your doctor or other licensed health care professional for advice on what to take with your methadone.
For starters, I wouldn't advise that an opiate addict take prescription pain medication while trying to get off of other opiates using Suboxone. Suboxone is used for opiate dependence and addiction, and should be used as part of an enitre recovery plan. With that being said, it should be fine taking the Norco after that much time has elapsed just as long as you take the Norco AFTER the Suboxone and not before. Taking Norco before can cause full blown precipitate withdrawls, and an individual should wait to take Suboxone until they are starting to withdrawl from the other opiates. Again, I advise that any individual on Suboxone should stay on it, so that they do not screw up their chances of recovering. You can do it!
Opium contains various opiates such as morphine, codeine and thebaine.
