Covalent compounds are a type of compound where two nonmetals combine, by sharing electrons. For nonmetals to become stable they usually require 1,2 or 3 more electrons. Hence when two nonmetals combine, they can share electrons. For example the covalent compound Carbon Dioxide has a formula of CO2 that is 1 carbon and two oxygen atoms. Carbon needs 4 more electrons while oxygen only needs two more. Hence each oxygen forms a double covalent bond with the central carbon. The each oxygen atom shares two of its electrons with carbon and carbon shares two of its electrons with each oxygen
Living things are made up of both ionic and covalent compounds.
apex Compounds made from two nonmetals Sharing of electrons
Petrol is a mixture of organic compounds. These organic compounds have covalent bonds.
Covalent compounds generally have much lower melting and boiling points that ionic compounds. Covalent compounds are soft and squishy. Covalent compounds tend to be more flammable that ionic compounds. Covalent compounds don't conduct electricity in water. Covalent compounds aren't usually very soluble in water.

The covalent compounds are not made up of Potassium.

This is the situation of covalent compounds.

Yes.
There are number of compounds made up of covalent bonds. for example water, protiens, silica and etc.
Covalent compounds are formed by covalent bonds.
It depends on the compound. nonpolar covalent compounds will generally be soluble whie polar covalent compounds will not be.
covalent compounds --------- It is inadequate to discuss about a telephone in terms of ionic and covalent compounds.
