During August 2016, JetBlue Flight 429 was flying from Boston to Sacramento ran into some bad weather.
Unexpected turbulence hit, and many passengers were not buckled in. They started banging around in the cabin. One passenger reported that the woman in front of him came about two feet out of her seat when he grabbed her and pulled her back down.
