And P.S Abigail Adams faced many problems in her like with not only (Women's rights) but Slavery and Discrimination. She was a big part of the Deceleration Of Independence. And just so you know she was married to John Adams the president not the rapist.

In reading her letters she tells of her life in so many ways. One letter she asks John what she is to do with 6 children ( they live outside of Boston) if the British show up at their farm. He writes back that she is to take the children and hide in the woods. She was a strong woman who believed in women's rights in the 1700's. Her letters to John reflect this through out her life. I think one of her main obstacles was dealing with small children and her husband was busy leaving her alone to take care of a farm and the children with no help.
