i dont think anyone couldve tested that theory since no computer models in the 1800s. it was supported by fossil and glaciation evidence though. and offcourse later supported furthur by plate tectonics
Alfred wegener call the supercontinent Pangaea (i guess)
Alfred Wegener's full name is "Alfred Lothar Wegener", and he is a German scientist who came up with the theory of Continental Drift.
Alfred Wegener!
Alfred Wegener's famous theory was that all of the continents joined together to form one large super-continent; Pangea.
Alfred Wegener.

Alfred Wegener was a meteorologist who introduced the theory of continental drift.

Did you mean Plate Tectonics Theory? - Plate Tectonics Theory is the combination of Continental Drift and Ocean/Sea Floor Spreading. BTW. The scientist who started it is Howard Baker continued by Alfred Wegener.
Alfred Wegener's full name is "Alfred Lothar Wegener", and he is a German scientist who came up with the theory of Continental Drift.
Alfred wegener's theory of continental drift was not accepted by most of the scientific community in his world.

Alfred Wegener!
A man named Alfred Wegener first presented the theory of plate tectonics, but had no proof, so other scientists laughed at him. later, Arthur Holmes decided that it wasn't such a laughing matter, due to the theory of convection currents in the mantle. so Alfred Wegener first presented it, but Arthur Holmes proved it. hope this helps.
Alfred Wegener's famous theory was that all of the continents joined together to form one large super-continent; Pangea.
The theory of Pangaea was originated by Alfred Wegener, a German meteorologist, and geophysicist in the early 20th century. He proposed that the continents were once connected in a supercontinent that he named Pangaea, which later broke apart and drifted to their current positions.
