America out-produced Germany. They were a larger nation, with more Natural Resources and more industrial operations. The Americans also had the advantage that THEIR factories and refineries were not being bombed by the enemy. America built more ships, airplanes, tanks, cannon, trucks and other military hardware than Germany could produce. America also had the manpower to staff those ships, airplanes, tanks, etc.
