No.
BP put a new cap on the leaking pipe, but, as of July 14, 2010; no one knows if it's working to stop most of the oil from escaping the leak.
The Deepwater Horizon oil spill (also referred to as the BP oil spill, the BP oil announced that BP would be temporarily banned from new contracts with the US.
BP is drilling two relief wells. The wells are intended to intersect the blown out well. Heavy mud will be pumped down at least one of the relief well and will overcome the oil coming out. This will stop the spill. Cement will be pumped down the well so oil will never again flow out of the well.
There is no way BP want the oil spill to continue, it is costing them billions.

The oil spill will stop when the cap is permanently shut. The oil spill was caused by BP and has injured and killed thousands and thousands of sea animals. They are trying to find a way to close the cap and keep it shut, so far, efforts have not worked. The BP Oil Spill also killed 11 people, as well injured many others.
It hasnt been cleaned up its still leaking. Bp has no idea how to close off the pipe or get it cleaned up they have completly screwed our marine life in the gulf.
they were going to think about covering it. BP is currently attempting to pour cement over the leak to stop the oil flow.
They have tried verious caps and domes to cover the leak. They have only stopped some of the oil from leaking out. This problem will not be solved with easy answers. BP doesn't know how to fix a leak this far down under the ocean.
