In the House
If the House eaker dies, a new speaker is elected by the House.
Bernie Sanders' real first name is Bernard. (But his insistence on being called "Bernie" initially caused some problems for newspapers like the New York Times, which historically had called candidates by their actual first name-- Charles, rather than Charlie, for example. But Senator Sanders instructed all the media outlets to refer to him as Bernie, rather than Bernard; that is why you only see him being called "Bernie Sanders" and not Bernard Sanders.) And interestingly, Senator Sanders does not have a middle name.
No, he was not. His distinctive accent is the product of being born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Senator Sanders lived in Chicago while he attended college at the University of Chicago. He did not move to Vermont till 1968.
Senator Bernie Sanders bears a distinctive Brooklyn, New York accent. He was born and raised there, went to college in Chicago, and moved back to New York after college. He only moved to Vermont when he was nearly 30 years old and his Brooklyn accent was fully set in.
As I write this answer in mid-May 2016, Senator Bernie Sanders has won a total of 19 primaries and caucuses, in such states as Michigan, New Hampshire, Idaho, Washington, Hawaii, Maine, Wisconsin, Colorado, West Virginia, Wyoming, Alaska, Utah, Rhode Island, and (of course) Vermont.

Because he calls himself one. Paul Krugman, the columnist, once wrote that "Bernie Sanders isn't a socialist but he plays one on TV." That is, Bernie Sanders flavor of Socialism is really more like FDR's New Deal program than anything called socialism in socialist countries. On the other hand, I strongly suspect that Karl Marx would have rejected most of the self-proclaimed Socialist governments of the 20th century as distressingly oppressive. Perhaps even Marx himself would have preferred FDR.
If Bernie Sanders does not win the US Presidential Election, he can continue to push for his agenda by advocating for his policies and building grassroots movements. He can use his platform to raise awareness, rally support, and pressure elected officials to adopt his ideas. Additionally, he can collaborate with like-minded individuals and organizations to advance his vision for a New America at the local and state levels.
