Henry VIII solved his financial problems when he broke with Rome.

This is because:

i) Lots of taxes were going to the Pope. If he did not have to pay the Pope then he would be able to keep lots of his money.

ii) On top of that, once he was split with the Church, his own 'Anglican Church of England' would obtain money donated by the people.

iii) Also, when he 'dissolved' the monasteries, he sold off their land and took valubles from them to sell, which would give him another income.

he solved one of his problems this way:

Henry settled the old argument between the Lancaster's and the York's.

in early 1486, he married Elizabeth of york , daughter of Edward VI.

Now the Lancaster's had a king and the York's had a queen.

The White rose symbol of the York's was added to the red rose symbol of the Lancaster family to make the Tudor rose.

Henry VIII solved his church problems by breaking with the Pope. He gave the church Protestant Doctrine so he could get a divorce. He kept Roman Catholic organization so it would not become a democracy like the Calvinist. He made the worship service Greek Orthodox but in English to keep it Catholic and not boisterous Protestant but not Roman and therefore not under the Pope. That way he could divorce and behead his wives.
