Hitler took several steps to make Germany and totalitarian state. First Hitler was appointed Chancellor in January, 1933. Next Hitler allegedly staged the Reichstag Fire in February of 1933 and blamed the Communists. Hitler then, with the assent of President von Hindenburg, issued the Reichstag Fire Decree. This invoked Article 48 of the Weimar Constitution and suspended several civil liberties.

He started National Socialism. It allowed Germany to prosper and break out of the depression caused by the World Banks. Actually, he freed the Germans from the World Banks run by the Lehmans and Rothchilds. Hitler was fighting rampant communism as it was bleeding from Russia. Communism is wholly a Jewish creation (Lenin, Marx, Trotsky, Engels, etc) and it can be summed up well as zionism

The majority of the population agreed with Hitler, but those that didn't were arrested, shot, put in camps. They took control gradually and by the time they had full control it was too late. Common people helped by turning in people they thought were Jewish or against Hitler.
